the austrian parkinson's society (öpg) deals with parkinson’s disease, atypical parkinson’s syndromes and other movement disorders such as dystonia, chorea, tremor, tics and myoclonus.

the öpg’s objectives are to carry out research into and medical training and further education on these diseases, providing information to doctors about current events and developments, and improving medical and psychosocial care for patients.

information and education for patients, for those affected and for colleagues. all communication measures are dedicated to this objective. the regularly published information tool “p-aktuell” informs colleagues several times a year on new findings and treatment methods.
