in 2014, the Lower Austrian State Exhibition ran under the title “jubilation and misery – life during the Great War 1914–1918”. in the period from March to November, over 1500 exhibits from more than 140 lenders captivated more than 150,000 visitors.

COMMUNICATIVE GOAL & IMPLEMENTATION

GÖSSERINGER was responsible for the editorial design and layout of the educational guide, a textbook that was used in schools to accompany the exhibition. its aim was to introduce the scientific and historical facts in both an interesting and informative way, appropriate to the school year of the students.

one year before the exhibition, GÖSSERINGER began and oversaw implementation of the website for the collection campaign. it was the central contact point for lenders to donate their loan items, which historians at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute had historically verified and prepared as exhibits for the exhibition.
